Testimonials

Sobia

Sobia is equally inspiring. She arrived feeling discouraged, but through personalized coaching, resume clinics, and ongoing encouragement, she discovered her strengths and landed a role as an Activity/Volunteer Coordinator at Sunrise Senior Living. With support from our team, Sobia even negotiated a higher salary and now helps others thrive by recruiting volunteers − creating new opportunities for future YMCA clients.

Savannah

Savannah’s journey began when she relocated to Windsor, unsure where to start her job search. With guidance from our dedicated team, Savannah learned new strategies, built her confidence, and secured a volunteer placement at the Downtown Mission. Her strong performance quickly led to a paid position, and now she’s helping others ignite their own journeys by referring job-ready clients to YMCA services.
